I love your page Very entertaining. I found it when i was doing some research to build a RC vehicle of some sort when i saw the picture of the chainsaw car then i saw the tank your are working on. I have to say it looks pretty awesome and inspired me more on my quest to build a RC vehicle. I found a great website the other day that has some very handy equipment for making anything that has to do with RC vehicles. I was looking for pictures of a 1992 dodge shadow after someone offered it in a trade for my ford mustang that I posted on craigslist. I had a 1989 GMC S15 as my first vehicle. It was extended cab and had a 34 ton if you would believe that My father put over 180000 miles on it for work but it still runs till this day because he took care of it. Too bad we dont have it. Anyways cool site it gives me the idea to make a site like this on myspace although I dont like myspace everyone has it so why not |

well i did a litle bith of thinking ad i think that i culd start a motor usind a cordles dc drill gearing but to svamp the motor with rc car motor with hier rpm
and i wuld have possibly more power to ith
allso my pullstarter is broke so i have to make a batery powerd starer

Fix yes an AC drill starts the car perfectly. Alas a cordless DC drill doesnt have the RPMs to get the job done. So starting the car requires electricity which kinda stinks. Anything I build in the future will have a pullstarter. With the chainsaw I had it just wasnt possible without having a big honking pull starter assembly hanging off the side. |

I enjoyed your site. I wish I had taken pictures of all my cars like you have. I had several that I wish I had pics of now. My favorite part, and I can see I am not alone, is on your r/c car. It has gotten me to put my planes on the back burner and try to build one. It is difficult to see what kind of parts you used from those pics though. |

Looks GREAT!! Best idea i can give to really torque up the steering would to have 2 steering servos.
1 servo for each front wheel and run a bracket or strong wire from servo to servo so they are connected and work in unison. Two HAS to be stonger than one! You might have to play around with wiring or buy/make a custom "Y" harness to run the 2 servos from the one channel.
Just a thought...
Other than that i like what i see..very very much SO!!
OH!! ALSO.. DO YOU WANT INSANE SPEED?? (off course you do;-)) check out the sturmy-archer website for 8 speed bicycle drive hubs slap that puppy on and LOOK OUT i'd make a bet it'll top 100mph+ if geared correcly. This also has a built in brake...Food for thought..
